Knotting Hill Farm can accommodate up to 150 people including the bridal party for your wedding.

No. The pricing is simple and straight forward and is not based on number of guests.

There are several options for overnight accommodations less than 15 min away.

We do not offer a wedding coordinator; however, we do have several resources available to help make the preparation for you big day as simple and streamlined as possible including check lists, reminders and Calanders and an onsite manager the day of the wedding.

When the contract is signed, to continue holding your date we require a $1,000 booking fee to be paid. Twelve months prior to the event 50% of the remaining balance will be due. The final payment will be required 30 days prior to the event. You are welcome to send smaller, partial payments of any amount prior to the specified due date as you prefer. Please include the last names of the couple and the wedding date in the memo line if you are mailing a check. Full payment is due by the specified due date. Please note, tax is not included in the venue rates. A 4.75% NC state tax must be applied.

To reserve a date email us at: hello@knottinghillwedding.com stating that you are ready to book XYZ date if it is still available. We suggest sending an email stating you are ready to book your preferred date and then include a backup date in case your preferred date is unavailable. Although it is not required, prior to booking a date, we hope you are able to come out in person to visit the farm. You can request a tour on our tour request page.

That is an important question! We believe the average budget of a couple getting married at Knotting Hill is between $14,000-$18,000 for all wedding expenses (Venue, food, dress, DJ, florist, photographer, etc.). It is certainly possible to use some creative solutions to get below those numbers as well as go all in and spend dramatically more.

The short answer is no. We do however, suggest that you have one in order to make your experience as enjoyable and stress free as possible. In the event that you choose not to hire a wedding coordinator we do require that a decision maker that is not the bride or groom be designated and available as a “point person”.

We do not offer catering options at this time. Being a new venue, we are not comfortable partnering or making recommendations for catering at this time. We anticipate this changing as we have the opportunity to work with some anticipated fantastic and trusted caterers.

Yes. We actually require that you use our own in-house bar service. We serve beer, wine, and specialty drinks.
The bar service packages very and can be found here. There is NO outside alcohol permitted onsite.

No. At Knotting Hill, we only host one wedding each day to ensure that your event is special and receives our full attention.

100 cars with golf cart shuttle service to and from the venue. (NOTE: This is included in the required security fee of $350.00).

For the Ceremony: We have 150 white, cushioned fold up chairs.
For the Reception: We have 10 - 8ft straight wood tables with 10 wood chairs per table (depending on arrangement). We also have 8 - 60” round tables.
For Cocktails: We have 10 - 24” cocktail tables.

Our fee structure does not change due to weather conditions. Having a temperature controlled fully enclosed space makes accommodating an inside wedding due to unexpected weather possible. The Veranda can also be used as a versatile ceremony space depending on the count.

We are dog friendly, with some caveats. Dogs must be approved prior to booking. Other than service dogs, there are no animals allowed inside either the Barn, on the Veranda, or food areas. Dog's must be on a leash and cared for by someone other than the bride or groom.

Actually yes! Shane is happy to offer ceremony services. There is a modest fee for this service and a couple of reasonable stipulations. Please email for more information.

Access to the venue is available the day of the wedding at 11am. The bridal suite is available at 10am.
The Bar service ends at 9pm. DJ’s last song must play by 10pm. Gates close at 11pm - No exceptions.
